The End of K-ON!! The board-game that was never played, because it was unplayable was something Yui designed in episode 23.
It’s filled with circles of club activities, kind of like Snakes & Ladders only that Yui never left space to draw an end goal, an end point.
Ok, that’s clever enough.
What got me though is the paper on which it was used. It was the club renewal form, which will never be re-submitted. Sometimes it takes fridge logic to break my heart. Sometimes, it takes @8C, who does comfort me with:

I think back to the preview for the next and final episode. I saw graduating girls, but none from the Light Music Club. This means nothing in particular, only that whatever is going to happen then is up to my imagination until it’s revealed.
